Med pay and personal injury protection is insurance you can have on your motorcycle that will pay up to a set amount of medical bills and/or lost income regardless of whether the wreck was your fault or the fault of another person. It is usually sold in small amounts of less than $10,000, but some companies offer up to $25,000. We strongly encourage you to carry this coverage in some amount, even if you have health insurance, as it helps pay medical bills and/or lost income.
